The 7th Intellectual Property Rights Professional Committee of the Lawyers Association of Jiangsu held its first conference in Suzhou on October 11, 2008. The conference was presided by Attorney Wang Xu Dong, Director of the Property Rights Professional Committee of the Lawyers Association of Jiangsu. Professor Li Xiao Wei of Suzhou University, who is also the Deputy Director of the Property Rights Professional Committee of the Lawyers Association of Jiangsu reported on subject matters “regarding a number of issues of forefront problems of Intellectual Property Rights, and the guide to the development of its legal services.” Mr. Li also resourcefully discussed and exchanged viewpoints with members regarding “Guide to the legal services of Jiangsu lawyers related to Commercial Secrets,” and also on the third revision of the “Patent Law,” and other issues.
