In order to implement the Ministry of Justice’s unified deployment of lawyers’ normative practice and the phasic learning requirements of the Department of Justice of set forth in the Implementation Scheme of Warning Education of the Lawyer Team of the Province, JC Master Law Offices held the first warning education activity of this year on the afternoon of April 2, 2010. The activity focused on learning and discussing the Report of the Ministry of Justice on Li Zhuang’s Violations of the Law and Discipline. Through the review and learning of Li Zhuang’s case, JC Master requires each lawyer to “take the case as reference,” fully recognize the harm of the illegal crime of LiZhuang, and draw lessons from it.
Meanwhile, all lawyers at JC Master had a discussion focusing on how to correctly handle the relationships between lawyer and trustor, judge and public security organs, the problems requiring attention in the investigation and proof collection, how to meet the defendant normatively. JC Master held further discussion on lawyers’ failure to act as dutiful agent, lawyers’ role as agent in private, collection of high fees and other phenomenon during the practice. JC Master further requests all lawyers to strictly comply with the law in practice; strengthen the lawyers’ concepts of professional ethics and practice discipline; strictly observe lawyers' professional ethics and behavior standard. JC Master requests every lawyer to write their understandings of this activity, which could clarify aspirations and incent behaviors. |
