JC Master Held a Health Lecture for Our Lawyers
On October 22 th, JC Master invited two health experts of a Jiangsu-based Health Education Center to give a speech named “ Take care of Your Health and Cherish Your Life ”, mainly on knowledge and information relating to prevention of new occupational diseases, comprehensive treatment and care of employees’ health status, dealing with emergency, etc.. The Lecture aims to raise our lawyers’ consciousness about health care and improve their self-protection ability so as to prevent and reduce the occurrence of occupational diseases.
Recently, a Jiangsu Radio and Television Real Estate Company has engaged JC Master to be the special legal counsel of its foreign luxury five-star hotel construction project, to provide special legal services for the project of the involved foreign negotiations, contract drafting, revision and performance and other matters.
JC Master provided Special Project Legal Services for a Newspaper Group in respect of its restructuring and listing
Recently, JC Master was engaged by a Shanghai-based large-scale Newspaper Group to provide Special Project Legal Services in respect of its restructuring and listing. The mentioned Newspaper mainly deals with financial and economic news and information nationally, business coverage ranging from newspaper publishing, advertisements, and new financial and economic media, etc.
The 2010 Regional Meeting of International Alliance of Law Firms was held in Tokyo, Japan, from November 3rd to 8th. Justin Ma, the Senior Partner of JC Master, attended the meeting and did extensive business exchanges with lawyers from England, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and Japan. Besides, Justin Ma discussed and exchanged opinions with representatives from renowned Japanese Construction Company, Shipping Company and Pharmaceutical Industry.
JC Master Held a Forum for Young Lawyers
In order to provide young lawyers with multi-level communication channels, better understand their ideas and personal needs and accelerate their growth, JC Master held a ‘Forum for Young Lawyers’ in the meeting room on November 15th, attended by Partner Representative Jenny Li and Wang Wende and all young lawyers.
In the forum, young lawyers shared their thoughts, gains and questions encountered in work respectively with the other young lawyers and communicated what they have learned from work, study, etc.. And Lawyer Jenny Li and Wang Wende analyzed such questions and discussed these questions with young lawyers thoroughly. Besides, the two partners with their own practice experience encouraged young lawyers to keep studying and improve their own ability and professional level.
The meeting went smoothly in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. All the young lawyers present indicated a desire to attend more meetings like this so that they can have more chances to communicate gains from work and share growth experience with the others.
Xiuqiang’s IPO on GEM approved by CSRC with JC Master as its lawyer
On November 19, 2010, Xiuqiang Glasswork’s IPO on the Growth Enterprise Market was approved by the Issuance Review Committee of GEM within the China Securities Regulatory Commission at the 76th conference of 2010.
Xiuqiang Glasswork CO., LTD is a private-owned enterprise located in Suqian, Jiangsu Province, mainly engaged in manufacturing glass used for home appliance and PV coated glass. JC Master was retained as the issuer’s lawyer and provided diligent and full-range legal services.
JC Master Lawyers Invited to Attend EU-China Manager Association Roundtable
Partner Jessica Liu and Attorney Daniel Wang were invited to attend EU-China Manager Association Roundtable on role of UE-China Managers in Commercial and Cultural Cooperation, held in Nanjing on 21st November. The attendees included professional managers engaged in China or EU enterprises, officers from China Council for the Promotion on International Trade and honored guests invited.
